I worked programming in C++ at Polymer Laboratories when they were taken over by Rheometrics Scientific and I continued working in C++ at my next job at Consort Securities.
When Rheometrics bought out Polymer Laboratories it was my job to add support for the PL instruments into their Windows Software Package. I worked closely with the software department in Pscataway, New Jersey and visited the United States on a number of occasions.
At Consort Securities I worked on a system for obtaining data from the London Stock Exchange's CREST system which was new at the time.
If you are wanting any programming work doing, either debugging and fixing old systems or developing new software, please do get in touch.
If I ever get around to it, my intention is to add some general information here about the C++ programming language. For now though I would suggest you look here: https://isocpp.org.
