Consort developed software for stockbrokers. I joined initially as an Analyst programmer working in C++, Access/Jet & SQL Server, and was promoted to Senior Analyst Programmer and later Team Leader for the project. Part-way through the project the company introduced DSDM and later OMT and McCabe Software Metrics. Phil was actively involved in helping to introduce the new systems into the company and to adapt the company's processes and procedures to fit in with the new methodologies and tools.
