This puzzle combines Sandwich Sums with German Whispers.

German Sandwich Whispers

Sudoku – each row, column & 3x3 box contains the digits 1-9
Sandwich – outside clues are the sum of the digits between the 1&9 in that row or column
German whispers – adjacent digits on a line have a difference of at least 5

I have always had a passing interest in puzzles, but this has become a bit more of a serious obsession during lockdown since I discovered the Cracking The Cryptic YouTube channel.

This puzzle was created for the April 2021 monthly puzzle prompt in the CtC fan discord server. The theme was Fool's Gold.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

This was my first attempt at a puzzle using the German Whispers constraint. I decided to combine it with Sandwich Sums as I have quite a bit of experience with this.
